Bot comments Report July 2025
The dataset of toxic bot comments detected in July 2025, spanning from July 1 to July 30, included over 8K English messages (n=8,032). The average toxicity score is 0.15, which is quite low. However, There is a notable peak (2 × SD) on July 25, 2025 (see this list of events that could have influenced it). About 50 messages (1%) were very toxic, with a score > 0.8.
Threatening content: about 10% of the messages was categorized as threatening.
Toxicity often involved Religion (10%), Racism, Ridicule and/or Politics.
The most frequent combination of categories: Politics + Racism.
Some common toxic keywords include: massacre, slayer, demon, charlie, zionist, jewish, zionist occupation, auschwitz, propaganda, and animal.
The word cloud below highlights the 50 most frequently used toxic keywords in July 2025. The size of each word reflects its frequency relative to other terms. Notably, fire was the most frequently used keyword, followed by land, allah and massacre.

In this month, the categories Ridicule contained bot comments with the highest toxicity score: 0.70. The categories Threat, Religion, Politics and Racism were most prominent with toxic bot comments content.

One narrative focuses mainly on the genocide, Israel and other words related to that, while the other narrative seems to focus on celebrities like Chappel Roan and Tom Holland.
